She thought he was her world,
never did she knew the dark side of him
sugar coated ever word
honey battered every action
And there she was, caught in a web of lies
Being blind to it all,
Love was all she could see and believe
"It's just a phase", the constant thought
"Ups and downs are part of life", that's what she was taught
She thought she is strong,
could fight the world if need be
Yet, never did she know
This is where she would lose it all...
