Is it really necessary to give people a taste of their own medicine?
Criticized by all, yet lived to rise above her own expectations of being a better version of herself.
We expect forgiveness but don't want to forgive. We want to be in the good books while having plans of holocaust (or something of same order). We scream, "why can't you let go?", when in the back of our mind we have an inventory of moments where they went wrong. Everybody has a dark tale to tell of why they are so, yet they forget embracing that part is an option. That is not a complimentary package you need to act on.
No, not asking you to give the other cheek when the first one has become tomato red. Not even asking to drink and drown in your blues. Rather act rationally, if acting deaf to curses saves you of being foul mouthed, do it. If not acting on your rage guarantees a good night sleep, why not? You can't go around changing the world, trying to make it a better place but you can live to love yourself as a rational human. It takes two to tango, the next time you want to throw that fit, think about how you can channel that same energy into playing those drums that has been lying in the corner of your room or watching something that will make you as witty as a minion. You may at times want to crush your ex's skull (for real) ,don't, why not just play darts with their picture on board, will improve your motor skills.
Revenge has a vicious circle, not a pretty picture in the end.
It took a toll on her life when she tried to make offenders suffer, eventually she failed. She learned to focus on her betterment. Halfway there and the feeling of a sociopath serial killer succumbed, she can now smile for real at people. Her goal moved from I will destroy to I will create. Don't be driven by reactions, do what you think will make you love yourself in the end. (You may even feel like Mr./Miss Congeniality).
"Rise above Hate, Rise to Love".
