The most common one, pick the right situation to talk or to stay quiet. Sometimes, we do feel the need to put our foot down but then again consequences makes us think otherwise. Sometimes, we would like to just not talk about it, best not to comment yet, we know miscommunication or rather no communication will add fire to the situation. Existence of hypocrisy doesn't make it any easier to act on our choices.
For starters, "you are too young, stay out of this".. (literally, the next day, different situation) "When will you realize you need to grow up, take responsibility of your actions and be independent".
Oh right! In plain words "Please live in two different age groups. Strike a balance between adulthood and teenage"😕. Dilemmas actually push your thinking capacity to a maximum by forcing you to pick what you want vs. what people want.
"Log kya kahenge? Logon ka toh kaam hai kehna."
This philosophy, makes you feel you have the world at your disposal. Ever tried living by it? You will always be caught in a web of thoughts, fight or walk away? If I fight, is it worth it? If I walk away, will I lose my prized possession? You can't always do what you want, despite those "gyaani wannabe philosophers" out there telling you to live the way you want. Give them a situation, a reality check and you will see the hypocrite residing within.
Every waking moment is about making choices, sometimes you just need to pick the lesser wrong.
You could be an introvert, you could be an extrovert or an ambivert, it just doesn't matter. You will have to forget your comfort zone and make choices that doesn't define you. Forget the over powering emotion that influences your choice.
You are human.. hence the unwanted range of emotions
Congratulations
on being stuck between
"FUCK IT"
and
"WHAT IF".
